trois tirages de photos à luminosité/contrastes différents, collées sur un article de journal sur erwin rommel, "danke an den deutschen..." ("merci au... allemand"). erwin rommel (1891 à 1944) était un officier et il a eu régulièrement contact avec adolf hitler.les photos du monsieur en costume, faits par le studio paul kirchgeorg de nürnberg et fürth, sont collés de façon asymétrique à ce que seulement le visage de rommel et le titre du journal sont visibles. sur chaque photo sont collé des bouts de papier. du papier rouge sur la première, du tissu jaune avec trois roues en métal, du papier noir et transparent et sur la troisième des timbres et le chiffre "iv.". backside: les initiales n. s. marquées au crayon

three picutures in different contrast and light are stick down on an article of a journal. this article refers to erwin rommel and is titled "danke an den deutschen..." ("thanks to the german"). erwin rommel (1891 to 1944) was an army officer and since 1942 field marshal. he stood in direct contact with adolf hitler. in the foreground are three picutres of a man dressed with a suit. the pictures are made by the photostudio "paul kirchgeorg nürnberg u. fürth". they are stick down in a way that it is only possible to see the head of rommel and the title of the article in the background. on each picture is stick down a piece of someting: on the first one there is red stripe, on the second one you can see a collage of yellow and black tissues, transparent paper and three pinions which are covering the face and the upper part of the man's body and on the third one are stick down three stamps with the roman numeral "iv.". on the backside: the initials n.s. are marked with pencil.
