sur différents tissus, cartons et papiers: un enfant en robe blanche de face, les bras coupés (dont un recollé comme un peigne du côté droit de l'image). différents éléments dérangeants coupent le corps de l'enfant (papiers) un papier va de son nez vers le bas de l'image pour le lier à une caravane de chameaux dans un désert. a gauche de la tête de l'enfant un cercle rouge découpé et recollé avec un décalage forme une demi-lune. le tout est collé sur une couverture de carnet sur lequel on devine les mots "deutsche m(...) in(...) rapport possible avec la campagne de tunisie (demi-lune rouge) entre novembre 1942 et mai 1943 entre l'axe italie/allemagne et les alliés france/grande-bretagne.

Subject

the background is made of different fabrics, cardboards and papers. there is the front side of a child wearing a white dress, his arms are cut and one is stuck again on the right side of the picture and forms a sort of comb. there are several disturbing elements which cut his body (papers), a paper links his nose to the picture of camels in the desert at the bottom of the collage. on the right side of the child’s head, there is a red circle which has been cut and stuck again and forms a half-moon. the whole collage is made on the cover of a notebook on which you can read the words “deutsche m(…) in(…). it might have something to do with the campaign in tunisia (because of the red half-moon) between the italy/germany axis and the french/british allies between november 1942 and mai 1943.

en haut au milieu sont gravés les initiales A H (initiales d'Adolf Hitler). pates de mouche du côté droit. / On the backside, the initials “A H” (Adolf Hilter) are carved at the top and there are spidery crawls on the right side
