the image shows a woman who has an egg as a body. a girl comes out of this egg. under the feet there are five pictures of one girl in different poses. two woman are pulling a cord which comes out of the egg. the words "schaffendes volk" ("creating nation") are cut off a poster and stick down on the right side. "schaffendes volk" is the title of the biggest exposition during the third reich in germany, düsseldorf. more than six million people went there to see the exposition which was about the new type of working, living and the new type off art. the image shows the antagonism between the propaganda that everyone is working hard in germany at this time and the role of the women. this role was dominated by bearing children.

l'image représente une femme avec un oeuf comme corps, duquel sort une petite fille (vraie photo). au pieds de la femme se trouve cinq fois l'image d'une autre petite fille. deux femmes tirent une corde reliée à l'oeuf. découpés d'un poster, les mots "schaffendes volk" (peuple créateur) figurent du côté droit du collage. "schaffendes volk" est le titre d'une très grande exposition en allemagne, à düsseldorf pendent la régime nazi. plus de six million des personne sont allés a düsseldorf pour visiter l' exposition qui traitait des nouvelles formes de travail et de l'habitat et du nouvel art.
